Launch of the new website
La revue d'études benthamiennes is the e-journal of the French Bentham Studies research centre called the Centre Bentham. It is an open access journal aimed at circulating Bentham Studies primarily to French academia. It will publish research focusing on Bentham’s thought, its origins, its scope and its development.
In order to promote research on Bentham to French scholars, the papers will be written in French, with a short abstract and a long 2-page summary in English. The rationale of the long summary is to enable the French-speaking contributors to see their research read and quoted beyond the French-speaking world to an extent that the abstract did not allow. For the non-French speaking academics who would nonetheless like to see their studies published in France, the editorial board accepts papers written in the native language of the contributor, as long as they have an abstract and a long summary in French. In addition to these full-length articles, La Revue benthamienne will also be glad to include and critical reviews of recently published books on Bentham.
The e-journal is issued twice a year in February and in September and wishes to include four articles per issue.
The Revue d’études benthamiennes wishes to go beyond the possibilities of a paper-based scientific journal to use all the Internet-related technologies in order to enhance interaction between scholars and increase information gathering and circulation in the field of Bentham studies.

By this means, the Editorial Committee of the Revue d’études benthamiennes hopes the Interactive research section will represent the buoyant Bentham studies.
